Travel Insurance

(Travel medical insurance to cover Trip cancellation and baggage loss)

Trip insurance are offered by US providers only for residents of the US or currently already in the US. US residents can purchase insurance to insure the value of their trip as well as cover medical expenses while on the trip. These policies insure the value of a trip or cruise. The customer must indicate the amount of money you wish to insure for as well as the ages of the travelers. If you cannot go on your trip or it is interrupted due to a valid reason as indicated in the insurance plan, you will get 100% to 150% of the insured value of the trip. If you go on your trip, any medical expenses you may incur will also be covered.

Going on a special vacation, honeymoon, or one-in-a-lifetime cruise? Don’t risk losing your investment! Purchase a trip insurance plan which can pay you back should you have to cancel due to illness or unexpected issue. That way, you can recuperate your loss and rebook the trip at a future date. Furthermore, should everything go as planned, you will have excellent medical coverage and additional coverage for missed connections, lost luggage, etc.
Eligibility:
  • Companies have recently made US residence a requirement for trip insurance. For some policies, you need only provide a temporary US address to get a policy while others require legal residence in the US.
  • A future trip can be insured for the non-refundable value of the trip.
  • A whole party (related and unrelated individuals) can be covered by a policy such that if someone in the party is affected, others can get benefits from trip interruption, emergency reunion, etc.
  • Some plans offer free coverage for dependent children with paying adults.
